Pendulum Power is only useful if you know how to use it, so at this point it is fitting that I explain exactly how a pendulum works. As I have already said, a pendulum is used to help you access the source of all knowledge within you. The way you do this is to hold the pendulum in your hand and ask a question which can be answered either ‘YES’ or ‘NO’. The answer is obtained by interpreting the direction in which the pendulum swings in response to your question.
To keep your pendulum use as simple as possible, you can draw a Pendulum Power Chart on a piece of paper to make such directional interpretation automatic. An example chart is shown below:
Using Your Pendulum
Actually using your pendulum to access the source of all knowledge within you is incredibly easy. In fact there are just three simple steps which you need to follow:
Step One – Preparation
You should ensure that you have your pendulum and your pendulum chart with you, then go to a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.
Sit down and place the Pendulum Power Chart in front of you.
Now take your pendulum in your dominant hand (the hand you write with) and hold the pendulum still so that it hovers about an inch or two above the centre of the pendulum chart.
Step Two – Ask A Question
Now you are ready to ask a question. The question can be anything, but should be asked in such a way that the answer can be yes or no. For example, you might ask, ‘Will this book help me to become more successful in life?’ because this can be answered either yes or no. But you can’t ask something like, ‘How can this book help me to become more successful in life?’ because the answer to this question can’t be answered with a yes or no.
It is important that you think about your question very clearly when using the pendulum so that you aren’t sending conflicting messages to the source of all knowledge. For example, if you ask a question about your job but you are actually thinking about something else, the answer you get could apply to either.
For best results, you should ask one question at a time and think only about that question until you have obtained an answer.
Step Three – Obtain The Answer
Once you have asked your question, concentrate on the weight of the pendulum. Do not move it physically, but just watch the weight of the pendulum. After a few seconds it will begin to sway in one direction or the other. This swaying will usually become more prominent and before long the pendulum will either be swinging clearly from NO to NO on your pendulum chart, or from YES to YES.
Obviously if the pendulum swings from NO to NO then the answer to your question is NO. If it swings from YES to YES then the answer to your question is YES.
On some occasions the pendulum will refuse to swing or it will go round in circles. This means that your question cannot be answered at this time. Either re-phrase the question, try again later, or ask another question on a different subject.
The more you practice with your pendulum, the better the results will be. However, you can’t expect the answers you get to be one hundred per cent accurate from day one. The pendulum is simply a tool which enables your subconscious mind to ‘tune in’ to the source of all knowledge and relay any resulting information through your physical nervous system and out to the pendulum itself where you can see it.
As with any tool, the more you practice using it, the better the end results will be.
Example Questions To Ask
Surprisingly, once some people have discovered how easy it is to access the source of all knowledge within them, they have a difficult time coming up with questions to ask! To ensure that this doesn’t happen to you, I will now list a selection of questions that you might like to use as you practice using your pendulum on a regular basis. Read them, use them, and enjoy!
Is this my first life-time on earth?
Will my current actions take me to wealth?
Will my current habits result in good health?
Am I currently fulfilling my life’s purpose?
Am I making the most of my potential?
Should I think about changing jobs?
Should I think about moving home?
Is my spiritual growth on target?
Do I need to spend more time developing my spiritual awareness?
Should I be more intuitive?
Should I be more considerate of other people?
Should I be less judgmental?
Conclusion
One of the things that almost everyone wants is a set of answers to life’s questions. We want to know what we are, who we are, and where we are heading. We want to know how our current actions, habits and beliefs are shaping our destinies. We also want to know what to do or change so that we can reach our full potential.
Pendulum Power can help us to get those answers. Not because a pendulum is a magical item in and of itself, but because it is a divination tool which we can learn to use to tap into the source of all knowledge which lies deep within our beings.
As we ask our questions and use our pendulums to get the answers, our spiritual growth can flourish from the inside out. As we begin to rely on the voice within rather than on the words of others, we finally begin to discover what spiritual enlightenment is really all about.
