How to Amplify the Law of Attraction II

In the first part of this two-part series on How to Amplify the Law of Attraction, we said that the key to experience the full power of the Law of Attraction is to learn to work on a feeling level as well as on an intellectual level. We said that, as well as adjusting your thoughts, you also need to adjust how you feel if you want to manifest your desires as quickly as possible. So how exactly can you do that?

You have no doubt heard one commonly offered solution, which is to ‘act as if’ the thing you desire is already a part of your life. That is excellent advice, but to get the most out of it you should understanding that ‘acting as if’ doesn’t simply mean pretending that any feelings of lack that you might have don’t exist. Rather, it means transforming any feelings of lack into feelings of havingness.

Going back to the example that we used in the previous part of this series, if you wanted to experience a greater level of abundance in your life you would need to develop the feeling of already having all the abundance you could ever desire.

Developing such feelings of ‘havingness’ is something that many people find difficult due to the fact that physical reality often contradicts the desire that they hold. The secret to overcoming this problem is to start looking at life from the perspective of the unlimited spiritual being that you really are instead of the limited physical being that you appear to be.

As a spiritual being you lack nothing, so from this higher perspective you can quite easily develop a sense of ‘havingness’ about abundance, health, peace of mind, success, confidence or whatever else you would like to experience on the physical plane. And because you can, as a spiritual being, enjoy a sense of havingness with ease, by maintaining that feeling you will automatically raise your energy and amplify the Law of Attraction in your physical life.

We can therefore summarise the approach that you need to take to amplify the Law of Attraction as follows:

1 – Identify the condition that you want to experience in your life. (For example, abundant wealth).

2 – Adopt the perspective of the unlimited spiritual being that you really are and, from that higher perspective, enjoy the reality that you already have what you would like on the physical plane. (For example, as a spiritual being you already enjoy abundant wealth right at this moment because you are one with all the abundance in the universe).

3 – Maintain this sense of havingness and do not let it go. Even when your physical situation changes for the better (as it must when you adopt this approach to working with the Law of Attraction) there is never any need to revert to your previous perspective. Instead, continue enjoying your sense of havingness so that the Law of Attraction can continue enriching your life on an ongoing basis.

If you have ever wanted to amplify the Law of Attraction in your own life then try applying the ideas that we have presented here for a few weeks. When you bring a higher quality of energy to the task by developing a sense of havingness in advance, you will find that the Law of Attraction works far more effectively than you have ever dared to imagine. Enjoy!

How to Amplify the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is a universal principle which really can help people to create good things in their lives, but not everyone who tries to work with the Law of Attraction gets the same quality of results. Some people read about the Law of Attraction, apply what they learn and find that they are able to manifest even sizeable desires with the greatest of ease. Others, by comparison, find that they have to work quite hard with the law of attraction to manifest even modest desires.

Some individuals have concluded that this variation in results means that the Law of Attraction is in some way inconsistent, but that is not the case. The variation in results is simply due to the fact that different people bring a different quality of energy to the task of creating good things in their lives. In short, those who bring a higher level of energy tend to experience speedier manifestations than those who bring a lower level of energy. It therefore stands to reason that if you have ever wondered how to amplify the Law of Attraction, the answer is to raise the quality of your own energy.

We all know how the Law of Attraction works theoretically – you attract whatever happens to be in tune with your own energy. The problem arises when people take the word energy to refer only to their thoughts.

Changing your thoughts is certainly important when you want to work with the Law of Attraction, but unless you also change how you feel on an energetic level you won’t manifest your desires as quickly as is genuinely possible.

For example, if you would like to experience a greater level of abundance in your life then it is obviously a very good idea to think abundant thoughts. But if you continue to feel a lack of abundance on a deeper level, that feeling of lack will reduce the effectiveness of your abundant thoughts. And unless you also start to feel abundant on an energy level you won’t experience the full power of the Law of Attraction in your life.

So how can you raise your energy to the point where you start experiencing the Law of Attraction at something approaching its full power? The answer is to learn to work on a feeling level as well as on an intellectual level, and we will discuss how to do that in the next part of this two-part series.

Entering the Zone III

Entering the Zone – Method One

This first method of entering the Zone uses the power of meditation and breathing to induce an alpha-rhythm in the brain. The more often this alpha-rhythm is deliberately induced, the easier it will be to enter the Zone. For this reason we strongly recommend that you practice this method every day without fail. Make it a habit – as much a part of your life as brushing your teeth – and the benefits will soon become apparent.

The method is as follows:

Go to a place where you will not be disturbed for at least half an hour. If you wish you can make the place more comfortable by closing curtains and lighting a candle or two, and perhaps some incense as well.

Sit comfortably in a chair or on the floor and ensure that your back is as straight as possible.

Close your eyes and concentrate on watching your breaths. Do not count your breaths, but simply ‘watch’ as you inhale and exhale. You may find it helpful to focus on the nostrils where air naturally enters and exits the body.

After a few moments you will notice that your breathing naturally slows and develops its own rhythm. Tune into this rhythm by imagining a drum beat every time you inhale and exhale. Imagine that the drum beats loudly, and that its vibrations can be felt throughout your entire being.

Before long you will feel incredibly relaxed and yet very alert. You will not get ‘tranced out’, but if you do feel sleepy then stop the exercise and try again when you are feeling less tired.

After fifteen minutes or so of watching your breaths an alpha- rhythm should have been established. Now it is time to go on to the second part of our method…

Imagine yourself going about your daily business, but being in perfect and total control. Imagine feeling totally connected to the universe and everything in it. Imagine everything going well for you. Imagine having a desire and then having that desire met almost immediately. The more emotion you can pack into this creative visualization, the better.

Now think of one of your major desires – it may be for a new job, greater abundance or a new romantic partner, etc. – and imagine that you already have it. Deliberately tell yourself and the universe that your desire has been fulfilled, then detach yourself from this desire and leave it alone.

When you have visualized in this manner for another fifteen minutes or so, open your eyes and then resume your normal daily business.

Elements of an Effective Ritual

In The Power of Ritual we said that there are seven elements that make up an effective ritual. The seven elements of an effective ritual are as follows:

Element 1  -  Illumination
The first element is that of illumination, and primarily we are talking about light. Candles are used in a wide variety of rituals, whether it is in a Christian church setting or in the private temple of an individual. Candles provide a good source of illumination because the flame is a perfectly natural part of the universe. It symbolises the light of the universe (the power within) and also give the practitioner something to focus on. We will come back to this point a little later.

The type of candle used is entirely up to you. We suggest that you choose a candle which seems fitting for the ritual you intend to perform. A white candle might symbolise pure spiritual awareness, a green candle might symbolise wealth, a red candle might symbolise power, a pink candle might symbolise love, and so on.

Our rituals always begin with the lighting of the candle. This helps us to focus our attention on the serious metaphysical task in hand.

Element 2  -  Sanctification
Whenever you perform a ritual, the space you work in is, for all intents and purposes, your private temple. If you can perform all of your rituals in the same place then this will be helpful because this area will become charged with spiritual power over the long term, and soon you will just have to go to that place to feel more powerful and in control.

Whether or not you can set aside a specific place for your ritual work, the area around you should be ‘sanctified’ for your use. This simply means that you should make the place as conducive to spiritual work as possible. One of the most common and most effective ways of sanctifying your working area is through the use of incense. This comes in a variety of forms, from pure incense which burns on charcoal, to much simpler joss sticks which are lit and allowed to burn slowly.

Another type of incense comes in the form of an oil and is heated on a dedicated oil burner. All types of incense fills the room with a certain odour which is meant to relax and prepare you for spiritual work. The odours available are numerous and, you should choose one which you personally find pleasing.

Once you have lit a candle and some incense, your working area is prepared and you can begin the ritual itself.

Element 3  -  Centralisation
This is where the ritual begins proper, and the aim of centralisation is simply to still the body and mind so that the individual can tap into the power within him.

The easiest way of becoming centred is to sit comfortably with your back straight, focus your mind on one object and then deliberately breath deeply for a few minutes. Many people gaze at their candle in order to still their minds and allow themselves to relax, but others simply close their eyes and concentrate on feeling the air flow in and out of the nostrils.

When your body and mind feel relaxed, quiet and comfortable then the centralisation element of your ritual has served its purpose.

NOTE : Centralisation is the third of our seven elements, but many people use it as the first. Some people simply do not find it convenient to light candles or incense and so omit them altogether, beginning with a period of centralisation. There is nothing at all wrong with this and, as always, you should feel free to adapt and change any suggested routine that we present so that it fits your personal needs and desires.

Element 4  -  Affirmation
The element of affirmation is when the individual declares exactly what he wants the ritual to do. The affirmation can be short or long, depending on which suits you best, but must be as specific as possible. Instead of saying, ‘I am performing this ritual so that my finances improve,’ one should say, ‘I am performing this ritual so that my hard work will be noticed and my employer will give me a pay rise.’ As with all affirmations, the more specific you are, the more dramatic your results will be.

If you have trouble thinking of spontaneous affirmations, you should consider preparing them before the ritual begins. There is nothing wrong with writing down your affirmation on a piece of card and then reading it during the ritual itself, as long as your heart is in your affirmation.

Element 5  -  Imagination
Once you have affirmed your intention, the next step is to close your eyes and imagine that the reality you want to experience has already been manifested. For any spiritual exercise to work, your inner energy must by put into motion through the deliberate use of the imagination.

For example, if your ritual is designed to help you receive a pay rise from your employer, you should imagine yourself in your normal working environment. Picture yourself being effective at work and reaching your goals with ease. Then imagine your boss approaching you and complimenting you on your good work. Smile and thank him for his kind words.

Then imagine your boss asking you to his office, and you being offered a pay rise. Feel the satisfaction that this brings. Imagine what you will do with the extra money. In your imagination, picture how the extra money will help to improve some aspect of your life, and feel the emotions associated with this.

The more detailed you can be when visualizing your affirmation as reality, the better the results will be. The more emotionally involved you can get in the visualization, the faster the results will come.

Element 6  -  Confirmation
The sixth step is to confirm that you already have what you want. It is a word or two of thanksgiving – a moment where you show your appreciation to the power within for making this miracle possible.

Your confirmation, like your affirmation, can either be spontaneous or prepared before the ritual begins. Be sure to word your confirmation in the present tense as though you already have what you want.

For example, if you have just imagined receiving a pay rise from your boss, your confirmation might sound something like this:

‘I thank the power within me for making this miracle possible. I am happy that I have received my pay rise and I affirm that my employer will join me in experiencing a greater level of financial joy and abundance.’

Element 7  -  Conclusion
Now the ritual is almost over. All that remains is for you to bring it to a satisfying conclusion. The best way of doing this is just to close your eyes again and relax, happy in the knowledge that your ritual has worked and has helped you to create the reality you wanted to create. Feel free to continue visualizing your success in the here-and-now if you wish, or simply meditate for a short while.

When you feel totally relaxed and satisfied, open your eyes and affirm the conclusion of the ritual. Such a conclusion might sound like this: ‘This ritual has now served its purpose. The desired pay-rise has now been created, and for this I thank the power within me.’

Then extinguish the candle. This symbolizes that the ritual is over and your goal achieved. The incense may be left to burn itself out (if it is safe to be left) or it may also be extinguished, according to personal preference.

These then, are the seven elements of an effective ritual. As we said earlier, feel free to experiment with the structure and/or components to suit your own temperament and needs. For example, you might like to play some soothing music in the background whenever you perform a ritual. Others might want to use several candles instead of just one. Whatever your preference, please understand that what we have presented here is a flexible framework – not a rigid set of rules.
