A human being can be said to inhabit two universes – the exterior physical universe which is experienced via the physical senses, and the interior universe which is experienced via the mind and imaginative faculties. Understanding that you as an individual inhabit two universes and not just one is important, because trying to bring about change in the physical universe without first bringing about the same change in your interior universe is extremely difficult, if not impossible.

Your interior universe is your primary domain as a spiritual being, and it serves as a pattern upon which your external experience is built. Furthermore, if your interior universe and the exterior universe are ever in conflict, it is always the interior state that will win out.

For example, if you are perfectly at home in your interior universe and you enjoy a feeling of calm, tranquillity and being at cause over life, those feelings will be part of your external experience even if the outer environment is full of challenges and deadlines.

Of course, the opposite is also true, and if you lack confidence and peace in your own interior universe then you will lack the experience of confidence and peace externally even if the situations in the environment are conducive to confidence and peace.

When you recognise that your interior universe effectively shapes the experience that you have in the external world, it is immediately apparent that if you want to create good things in your external reality you first need to create good things in your interior universe.

Most popular Law of Attraction techniques such as creative visualization and affirmations work because they gradually bring about positive changes in your interior universe, thereby allowing you to experience similar changes externally. Unfortunately, most popular techniques don’t create change in the interior universe as effectively as they would if interior creation were their primary purpose.

Whilst creative visualization, affirmation and so on are excellent tools, it can often be even more effective to take more direct and deliberate control of your interior universe and focus fully on making it exactly as you would want your external universe to be. By taking that approach you get to experience immediate results in your interior universe and your outer-world experience will quite naturally fall into line in due course.

To start with, you could landscape your interior universe so that you really enjoy spending time there. In a previous article we have discussed how to create an inner temple, and the process here is much the same. The big difference is that instead of creating a single temple you create the entire inner landscape of your interior universe. How large you make this interior universe, and the form it takes, is up to you. The important thing is to make sure that it accurately reflects the kind of experience that you want to have in the exterior universe.

For example, if you want to live in a large house in the countryside and enjoy a high level of financial abundance, glowing health and complete peace of mind, you could create all of that in your interior universe. You could create your ideal home in great detail, create the specific amount of financial abundance that you want, give your interior universe body the health and vitality you want, and so on.

Or maybe you want to experience a greater level of self-confidence in the exterior universe, as well as more peace of mind. In that case you would create more self-confidence and peace of mind for yourself in your interior universe, in whatever way appeals to you.

Whatever your exterior universe goals, creating them first in your interior universe will make it far easier for you to experience them externally. Spend as much time landscaping your interior universe in whatever way you see fit, then get into the habit of enjoying it on a daily basis. You might like to set aside thirty minutes a day to close your eyes and enjoy the reality of your interior universe, or perhaps you would prefer to go there when you close your eyes to sleep at night. Your personal routine is not important – what is important is that you enjoy your interior universe, and create whatever experiences you desire there, on a daily basis.

As far as your interior universe is concerned, you are the sole Creator, and you have free reign to create what you will. You can create a brand new world or a continent almost as easily as you can create a modest garden sanctuary, so allow yourself to be as inventive as you like. Just remember, the experiences that you create in your interior universe serve as a blueprint for the experiences that you will have in the exterior universe, so always be sure to create good things!

We previously promised an announcement that would be well worth waiting for, and here it is: Create Good Things has today launched The Seven Dollar Miracle, a brand new e-book that is designed to help the largest possible number of people to develop a mastery of the miraculous and work in harmony with the universe as co-creators.

The Seven Dollar Miracle has its very own web site at www.sevendollarmiracle.com and we encourage anyone who is interested in demonstrating their spiritual power in their own lives to pay a visit and read all about it. In the meantime, we are happy to provide you with an introductory overview right here…

The Seven Dollar Miracle is an instantly downloadable e-book of over 33,000 words presented in ten chapters. It is designed as a 21st century guide to working miracles and explains how the ancients used a precise step-by-step formula to work miracles in their lives… and how you can do the same!

And where does the ‘seven dollars’ reference fit into all of this? Well, as we said in our previous post, we wanted to create a product that would be accessible to the greatest number of people, so rather than price this book to make a profit, we set the lowest viable ‘token’ price that would enable us to cover our overheads. That token price is just $7, so now anyone can benefit from this information for less than the cost of a modest lunch at a fast food restaurant!

The Seven Dollar Miracle quotes from a variety of ancient scriptures, but it is not in any way a religious work, nor does it require you to have any specific world view. Our aim in creating The Seven Dollar Miracle was to present a powerful, step-by-step guide to mastering the miraculous in the same way that the ancient masters did, and when you study and use the material yourself you will be using the exact same principles and techniques that have been used for millennia.

Many people think that the Law of Attraction is a new idea, and various individuals and groups are currently trying to establish that they were the first to come up with it. But the Law of Attraction is only the modern name for a universal principle which is in fact timeless, and the ancient texts refer to it repeatedly, albeit in a sometimes carefully disguised way. By taking the reader right back to the original concepts of working miracles, as revealed in the ancient texts, The Seven Dollar Miracle delivers a genuine and authentic approach that is as effective as it is timeless.

Visit www.sevendollarmiracle.com to read more about this brand new title and please do spread the word as far and wide as you can. With the world throwing so many challenges at people it is becoming increasingly important for individuals to learn how to master the miraculous in their lives and work with the universe as deliberate creators. The Seven Dollar Miracle reveals exactly how to do that, and when you are in that position of confidence and power it really doesn’t matter what the world throws at you – you will be able to create good things regardless!

Create Good Things was selected as the name for this blog because it focuses on sharing hints, tips, techniques and strategies that can help you to create good things in your life on a deliberate basis. The key word in that last sentence is ‘deliberate’, because the fact is that we are all creating the reality that we experience in every passing moment. The big difference between people is that some are aware of that fact and seek to participate more fully in a process of deliberate creation whilst others are unaware of the role that they play in shaping their own reality and therefore have no choice but to continue with a process of unconscious creation.

Understanding that we are all creating our realities all of the time allows us to see that we already have everything we need to create reality. We don’t need to try and obtain any more power or ability than we already have within us. If anything is lacking in our lives, it is only a proper understanding of our massive potential and the skill required to make the most of that potential in a conscious and deliberate way. And those are the things that Create Good Things aims to provide.

In a few weeks time Create Good Things will be making a very special announcement that will benefit anyone who wants to be more at cause over life. We can’t provide any specific details about the announcement at this stage, but we can tell you that it will revolutionise the life of anyone who has a desire to create reality in a more deliberate and conscious way. That’s a fairly big claim to make, we know, but when you see the announcement that will be made in March, we think it is one with which everyone reading these words will agree with.

We are providing advance notice of this special announcement for two reasons. First, we want to make sure that all existing readers of Create Good Things keep a close eye on this site so that they don’t miss it (subscribing to our RSS feed might be helpful here). Second, we want to give you all a chance to invite your friends, colleagues and anyone else who you think might be interested to visit Create Good Things so that they too can benefit from the new development just as soon as it is announced.

The world is going through some tough times right now, and those who are trapped on a path of unconscious creation often feel as if they are being blown around this way and that by life’s circumstances. It is our hope that the announcement soon to be made here at Create Good Things will enable everyone who desires it to escape that trap of perceived powerlessness and set themselves on the much more causative and fulfilling path of deliberate creation. Stay tuned for the announcement in March!

Life on earth is like a dream. Birth is the moment when the dream begins, and physical death is the awakening. The time in-between – the dream of life – is totally under your control, whether you believe it to be so or not.

Let’s talk about dreams a little, because this is a metaphor which can be very useful.

When you are dreaming, anything can happen. You can be rich or poor, old or young, thin or fat. You can experience anything and everything. You can date celebrities, dine on the world’s most exotic foods, enjoy unlimited financial wealth and even fly through the air like a bird. On the other hand, you could be the victim of a bug-eyed monster, be chased by giant insects or wrestle with crocodiles in a sewer.

The dream is created by you, and no-one else. What you experience in the dream is determined by your frame of mind, your beliefs and your expectations. If, during a dream where you are flying, you suddenly realise that it is ‘impossible’ to fly, you would soon come down to earth with a crash! If, on the other hand, you believe that flight is natural, you would continue to soar until the dream came to an end.

So it is with the physical life, which is but an extended dream of around seventy years – sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. What you experience here in this dream is governed solely by your frame of mind, your beliefs and your expectations. If you think you need to work hard and long in order to make money, then that is what you will be forced to do. If, on the other hand, you believe that money comes to you automatically, then it will!

We realise that this sounds a little simplistic, but it is an essential truth. As a man thinketh, so he is. What your mind can conceive and believe, your mind can achieve. Ask, and you shall receive. These are all ways of saying the same thing:

Limitations in life are created by limitations in the way you think.

Do away with mental limitations and your life can be anything you want it to be!

Of course, breaking through the barrier of mental limitations is not easy. If it were then everyone would be doing it automatically, and there would be no need for a website such as this.

Breaking free from limitations may mean that you have to discard something that you were brought up to believe as being ultimate truth. For example, if you were brought up to believe that your way of thinking was the only correct way of thinking, you will need to get rid of this idea so that you can truly appreciate the customs, beliefs and essences of other people. This is by no means easy, but if you go with the flow and discard everything except that which you know intuitively, your life will become altogether simpler and more enjoyable. Life will lose any nightmarish quality and will instead become a wonderful, exhilarating dream.

So where does all of this talk about life and death and dreams bring us? Well, let us summarise the principles that have arisen from our discussion in this series:

- Our physical lives are finite. Death is inevitable, but not to be feared. Death is a gateway – a gateway home to the place where you truly belong.

- Because our physical lives are finite, we should make sure that we use every minute wisely. We should, when the time comes, be able to greet death with a smile and say, ‘I have accomplished and experienced all that I wanted to accomplish and experience.  I am ready to go home now.’

- Our life experiences are determined by our beliefs and expectations. Just as a dream is created solely through our own consciousness, so are the experiences of our physical lives.

These principles form the cornerstone of all forms of advanced spiritual knowledge, and so it should come as no surprise that we here at Create Good Things view them as being vitally important.

Changing The Dream

You visited Create Good Things because you want to change some aspect – or perhaps a few aspects – of the dream we call physical life. You want to enjoy a greater level of material success and prosperity, or you want to experience a better level of health, or you want to improve your relationships, or you simply want to increase your spiritual knowledge and power.

All of this is perfectly possible. All you need to do is recognise that change comes from within, and that you hold the key to your own success. We can show you different ways of turning that key, as it were, but it is you who must actually turn it. Just as you must follow a recipe in order to make a cake, so you must apply what you read here at Create Good Things if you actually want to get tangible results.

With that new understanding in mind, why not visit our Archive page and explore the information that we have made freely available for your benefit? Diligently apply what you learn and you will be able to start changing the dream of life as you desire.

According to the dictionary a pendulum is, ‘a body suspended from a fixed point so as to swing periodically under the action of gravity.’ As far as this series on Pendulum Power is concerned, a pendulum is a divination tool. Specifically, it consists of a weight attached to a thin cord which is used by the owner to help them obtain information from the source of knowledge within.

A pendulum is an excellent tool for communicating with the power within you for two major reasons:

- A pendulum is truly portable and can be carried with you anywhere and everywhere in either pocket or purse.

- Using a pendulum requires no detailed knowledge – just the ability to follow a few ‘operating instructions’ which will be given later in this series.

Some people are under the impression that a pendulum is something of a ‘magical’ tool in and of itself. This is not the case at all. A pendulum is a divination tool and nothing more. Any ‘magic’ that takes place comes from the user, not from the tool itself.

Consider a carpenter’s hammer. It is useless in and of itself. No matter how long it is left on a bench, it will not pick itself up and hammer a nail into a piece of wood. But combine the tool of the hammer with the knowledge of the carpenter and hammering a nail into a piece of wood is simplicity itself.

So it is with the pendulum. On its own it can do nothing, but when it is used correctly by the owner, seemingly magical results can take place.

Another myth is that a pendulum is only useful if it is of a certain size or if the weight is made of a certain material. Again, this is not so. You can make your own pendulum from materials you probably already have in your home in a matter of minutes and get just as good results as you would by using one which has been professionally crafted. Of course, it may not be as visually pleasing as a professionally manufactured model, but as far as results are concerned all pendulums are equal.

Making Your Own Pendulum

Having dispelled the common myths that a pendulum has magical properties of its own and that it should be manufactured in a specific way to be beneficial, it is now time for you to take some action. The first step is for you to make your own pendulum.

To make your own pendulum, you only need two things:  a length of thin cord and a weight. The cord could be a piece of string and the weight a simple ring or hex nut, but don’t be confined to these suggestions. One man that I know of was so desperate to make a pendulum that he used a thin shoe lace and a ball of poster putty for the weight – and his pendulum worked wonders!

I recommend that the cord should be approximately eight to twelve inches in length, and all you need to do is secure the weight of your choice to one end. When you have done that your pendulum is ready to use, and I will discuss how to do that in my next post.

The instant manifestation of desire is an idea that individuals have pursued for as long as the Law of Attraction itself has been recognised, which is several thousand years at the very least. The notion that there is a secret to manifesting any desire into its physical counterpart is, at first glance, an extremely attractive one. After all, who wouldn’t like to think of a million dollars and have it suddenly appear out of thin air? Or who wouldn’t like to desire an end to war and have it manifest just as quickly?

We know that the Law of Attraction works, and that desires can and do manifest themselves as physical reality, so why does the process usually take anything from a few hours to several years? And why, after thousands of years of study, has nobody managed to identify the elusive secret that would result in the instant manifestation of desire?

The most reasonable answer to me is that time itself acts as a kind of safety buffer between the moment of desire and the eventual manifestation of that desire. Such a safety buffer is necessary because all of us at some point desire things that are not good for ourselves or others. In a moment of embarrassment we might desire ‘to disappear into a hole’. In a moment of emotional upset we might desire something even more negative for ourselves or another person.

Clearly, if these irrational desires were allowed to manifest instantly, our lives would quickly descend into chaos. It could therefore be argued that having a gap of time between desire and manifestation is a perfectly good safety mechanism, and it could also be inferred that the more dramatic the desire, the longer it will take for that desire to be made manifest. Understanding this safety buffer concept is helpful because it enables us to be more patient when we are seeking to create good things in our lives, and prevents us from becoming frustrated when things don’t manifest as quickly as we would like.

Whatever desire we hold consistently is one that will manifest itself as physical reality in the future. If you focus on abundance at one moment and on poverty the next, your lack of consistency – in tandem with the safety buffer – will mean that no change in your circumstances are likely to be forthcoming. Your aim should therefore be to hold your positive desires consistently day after day, week after week, until the necessary safety buffer of time has passed and the universe allows that desire to manifest itself in your life. And of course, if you happen to have a single negative desire at any given moment, you won’t have to worry about that negative desire manifesting as reality.

Viewing the situation in these terms makes much more sense than pursuing a way to manifest your desire instantly. Instead, acknowledge that manifestation takes time and that there is probably a very good reason for that, then hold onto your positive desires and know that, when the time is right, it will surely be made manifest.

In this short series on The Power of Celebration we have discussed various ways in which we can increase our celebration of life. But what are the benefits of using the six keys that have been described? Well, they are plentiful…

To begin with, celebrating life allows us to detach ourselves from the trivial problems and cares of the world which lead so many others into emotional states of sadness, depression and helplessness. It enables us to live ‘on a higher level of awareness’ and view life from an infinite and eternal point of view.

Celebrating life enables us to ensure that we do not neglect to live today to the full as we work towards the goals and dreams of tomorrow. We know that today is really all we have, so we make the most of it.

When we fully appreciate where we are right now, we can being to appreciate how we got here in the first place. If we have anything to be thankful for in our lives, then we can acknowledge the fact that we attracted these things, situations or people into our lives. This gives us all the faith we need to start deliberately attracting what we want to experience in the future.

Finally, when we make a point of celebrating life every day, a hint of what we commonly refer to as ‘the Christmas spirit’ becomes a part of our regular daily experience. No longer are joy and happiness things that are kept under lock and key until December 25, but they become habitual feelings which we experience day after day regardless of the time of year.

This Christmas, be sure to have a wonderful time. Enjoy the good food, the festive drink and the traditional music by all means, but also take time to make this Christmas a time of special spiritual development and awareness which will benefit you for the rest of your days. Appreciate what you have and the people you know and love. Give of yourself to the people around you. But most of all live every moment of your life to the full.

Merry Christmas!
